Meet Christopher: Founder of Dry Care Incontinence
Christopher brings over two decades of experience directly serving and supporting the disability community, ensuring the needs of Dry Care customers are understood from a place of genuine empathy and practical expertise.
A Foundation in Accommodation & Service
Christopher's journey began in 2002 when he owned and operated the Sea Horse Motel and Apartments on Phillip Island . It was there, through direct interaction with people with disability and their careers, that Christopher recognized a significant, unmet need: dignified and accessible accommodation.
This led to the pioneering decision to convert half the motel rooms for duel purpose, creating and successfully marketing dedicated disability accommodation. This experience taught the critical importance of accessibility, respect, and anticipating the unique challenges faced by individuals.
Commitment to Hands-On Care
Building on this passion, Christopher later transitioned into a care role, working part-time as a carer for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). This hands-on experience provided invaluable, intimate knowledge of daily personal care needs, the importance of reliable products, and the deep emotional component of maintaining independence and self respect.
The Birth of a Solution
This comprehensive background—combining business acumen with real-world caregiving—culminated in the establishment of Advanced Disability Supplies, and now, Dry Care Incontinence. These businesses are direct extensions of Christopher's commitment to providing high-quality, reliable solutions.
